A new online service that will sell American goods to Japanese consumers said it plans to debut in March.
The company, Thinkamerican, plans to open its e-commerce portal on March 1 as well as 30 Internet kiosks by the end of the year, according to reports.
The company also expects to raise advertising revenue.
Thinkamerican is a spinoff of American Malls International, which was designed to bring American-style shopping malls to Japan.
Thinkamerican said it expects to be profitable by 2002.
