Streamsearch.com, Los Angeles, an Internet audio and video provider, will be the first Webcaster to use the technology to market and broadcast an Internet-only film and music festival. The festival will take place on streamsearch.com from Feb. 20 to March 20. Participants worldwide will be able to go to the site to view clips and hear songs from entries before placing votes for their top choices. Executives from top film and music firms, such as Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios and Chrysalis Music, will form a special committee to guide the festivities and serve for two years as advisors to the growing site.
